About This School |

The Springstone School is
an independent middle school that promotes and develops academic, social and
prevocational skills for students with Asperger's Syndrome, Nonverbal
Learning Disabilities and other neurocognitive challenges. The Springstone
School fosters values of independence, responsibility and community in
preparation for high school and beyond through intensive, individualized
instruction in small structured classrooms. |

This section provides information about the school’s goals
and programs.

The Springstone School is an independent middle school that
serves students with Asperger's Syndrome, Non-verbal Learning Disability and
other executive function challenges. All instruction integrates pragmatic
language, occupational therapy, organizational skills and life skills in the
classroom and in the community. We believe our students will succeed in
academic and social settings when they are part of a community that
understands, accepts, and challenges them. |
This section provides information about opportunities for
parents to become involved with school activities.

Sprinstone’s Parent Faculty Association meets monthly
formally. The PFC organizes the school’s annual fundraiser
and has been instrumental in organizing several extracurricular activities. |
